Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones: how it practiced air defense

Air defense forces neutralized one ballistic missile and 52 drones that the Russians used to attack Ukraine since the evening of December 29.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From 18:00 on December 29, the enemy launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea and the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation. In addition, the Russians attacked with 60 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types.
The launches were carried out from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Gvardiyske and Chaudy in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 40 drones were “Shaheds”.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09:00, air defense forces had shot down or suppressed one ballistic missile and 52 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country. At the same time, one ballistic missile and eight strike drones were recorded hitting five locations.
