Russia attacked Ukraine with over 400 drones during the day: details of the attack

Russia carried out one of the most massive attacks on Ukraine, launching over 400 strike drones during the day.

This was reported by the head of the communications department of the Air Force Command, Colonel Yuriy Ignat, in a comment to “Ukrainian Pravda”.

According to him, after the nightly combined attack, the enemy continued its aerial terror and launched a new wave of drones from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Drones came from various directions – from the south, north, and across the front line. Most of them were recorded from the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

Ignat noted that the drones moved in “columns”, and the geography of strikes during the day turned out to be wider than at night. Poltava, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions, as well as western regions – from Khmelnytskyi to Lviv – were under attack.

In total, Russia has used at least 392 drones since the evening of March 23, and the daytime attack was a continuation of a massive strike.

To repel the attack, the Defense Forces used all available means – from aviation to mobile fire groups and air defense systems.

At the same time, the enemy continues to shell frontline regions with guided aerial bombs, particularly in eastern and northern Ukraine.

The Air Force promises to publish detailed results of the air defense operation later.

It was previously reported that Russian occupation forces attacked Lviv using attack drones.

As a reminder, Russian troops attacked a residential building in Dnipro . At least seven people were injured in the strike.
