On the night of April 17, the Russian occupation army attacked Ukraine with drones and ballistic missiles.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“From 18:00 on April 16, the enemy attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the TOT of the AR Crimea, as well as 172 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Gvardiyske – TOT of the AR Crimea, about 120 of them – “Shaheeds” – the post says.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 147 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas UAVs and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country.

A ballistic missile and 20 strike UAVs were recorded at 8 locations, as well as falling debris at 4 locations.

The military emphasizes that the attack is currently ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
