Russia attacked Ukraine with two Iskander missiles and 130 drones overnight: air defense neutralized 125 targets.

On the night of August 30, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 130 attack drones.

The command of the Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense systems shot down or suppressed 125 Russian UAVs in the north, south, east, and center of the country.

At the same time, enemy air strikes were recorded at 13 locations, as well as debris from downed targets falling at another four.

In addition, some Russian weapons did not reach their targets; information on them is being clarified.

The attack continued in the morning, with several more Russian drones in Ukrainian airspace.

Three people were injured in Kyiv as a result of a Russian attack, the State Emergency Service reported.

A fire broke out in a 12-story residential building in the capital’s Obolonskyi district. In the Podilskyi district, a fire was reported in a non-residential building, in Holosiivskyi district, an administrative building was on fire, and in the Desnyanskyi district, an open area was burning.

In the Nikolaev region, a Russian drone attack damaged a food processing plant, causing a fire.

Three people were killed and 17 others were injured in Russian attacks in the Kherson region , the regional military administration reported.

In the Donetsk region, Russian troops wounded seven people: three each in Kramatorsk and Druzhkovka, and one more person in Zavido-Kudashevo.
