Russia attacked Zaporizhia: “Epicenter” flared up, there is a power outage
Russian occupation forces attacked Zaporizhia with drones at night. The shelling damaged a private house and the Epicenter shopping center, where a large fire broke out. About 1,200 consumers were also left without electricity.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported on the consequences of the attack.
In one of the city’s districts, a Russian strike damaged a private house. Windows were broken, and a gate and fence were damaged. A fire also broke out at the scene, which rescuers have already extinguished. According to preliminary data, no people were injured.
The Epicenter shopping center suffered more significant damage. A large-scale fire broke out there after the attack. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service are working at the scene, eliminating the consequences of the strike.
In addition, the Russian attack caused a local power outage. About 1,200 consumers in one district of Zaporizhia were left without electricity.
“As soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will begin restoration work,” Fedorov said.
As of now, there is no information about the dead or injured as a result of the night attack.
