Russia attacks energy sector: Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka and part of Kramatorsk remain without electricity
The enemy struck the energy infrastructure of the Donetsk region, leaving part of the region without electricity. The entire Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka, and some areas of Kramatorsk were without power.
This was reported by the head of the Donetsk OAV Vadym Filashkin.
According to him, Russian troops have targeted critical infrastructure facilities, and this time the energy sector has come under attack.
Authorities and emergency services are already working on the ground; as soon as the security situation allows, power supply will be restored.
According to the head of the Estonian Defense Forces Intelligence Center, Colonel Ants Kiviselg, this winter Russia will likely intensify attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in order to inflict maximum damage on civilians.
It was previously reported that on September 30, the Russians struck a powerful blow to the Chernihiv region , leaving more than 26,000 subscribers in Bobrovytsia and surrounding villages without electricity after a power facility was damaged.
Massive storms also led to power outages in Shostka and 38 nearby villages , and in Kherson , the Korabel microdistrict was left without gas and electricity .
