Russia carried out a massive attack on Cherkasy: enterprises were damaged, people were injured

On the night of February 2, Russian occupation forces struck Cherkasy, directing drones at the regional center.
This was reported by the head of the OVA, Ihor Taburets.
According to him, air defenses neutralized 15 enemy targets during the night. However, the downing of drones was recorded at several locations.
At least 4 people were injured in the attack by the occupiers. They sought help from doctors. The injured were hospitalized and are receiving the necessary assistance.
In addition, the UAV crash caused a fire in the residential area. Previously, two houses were destroyed, neighboring homes were damaged, cars burned, and the buildings of three private enterprises and an automobile cooperative were damaged by debris and the blast wave.
An inspection of the territory is currently underway, and all necessary services continue to work on the ground.
At the same time, Cherkasioblenergo warned that emergency shutdowns were introduced in the region due to the consequences of the attack.
“We ask you to understand the measures taken to preserve Ukraine’s energy system. Today, there is a need for very economical consumption of electricity,” the regional energy authority urged.
As a reminder, on the night of February 2, Russian troops carried out a massive air attack on Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 171 strike drones .
