Russia conducted nuclear force training: intercontinental ballistic and cruise missiles were launched
Russian troops launched intercontinental ballistic and air-launched cruise missiles as part of strategic nuclear force training.
This was reported by propaganda media.
In particular, the launch of the Yars ballistic missile was carried out from the Plesetsk test cosmodrome at the Kura test site in Kamchatka.
Instead, a ballistic missile “Syneva” was launched from the strategic nuclear-powered missile submarine “Bryansk” in the Barents Sea.
“Also involved in the training were long-range Tu-95MS aircraft, which launched air-launched cruise missiles,” the report says.
According to the Chief of the Russian General Staff, all tasks within the framework of the training of strategic nuclear forces have been completed.
NATO has previously expressed concern that Russia could place its nuclear weapons in space.
As a reminder, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin stated that during joint military exercises with Russia, they planned to practice scenarios for the use of nuclear weapons .
