Russia continues attacks on energy sector: DTEK TPP attacked

Russian troops again struck a DTEK thermal power plant, causing significant damage to the equipment.

This attack was the eighth massive attack on the DTEK thermal power plant since October 2025.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have attacked the company’s thermal power plants more than 220 times.

As a result of strikes on energy facilities, 59 station workers were injured, and four more energy workers died.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian government has banned disconnecting healthcare facilities from power supply during the application of restriction schedules. The relevant decision was confirmed at the Cabinet of Ministers level.

We will remind you that in Kyiv, all homes that were left without electricity after the massive attack by the Russian Federation were connected to the power grid.
