Russia destroyed almost half of the warehouses of a large logistics company: the amount of damage was named

Due to Russian attacks, Ukrainian logistics company Berger Cargo lost over 40,000 sq m of warehouse space, which is almost half of its capacity. Total losses from destroyed facilities and lost equipment are estimated at UAH 65 million.

This was stated by the director and co-founder of the company, Valery Baranovsky, in an interview with NV.

Before the Russian attacks, Berger Cargo had 83,000 sq m of warehouse space in Kyiv region, Odessa, and Lviv. The facilities in Kyiv region suffered the most: one of the three warehouses was completely destroyed, and two more were partially destroyed.

At one of the damaged facilities, the fire destroyed 33.5 thousand sq. m of premises. In total, the company lost more than 40 thousand sq. m of warehouse capacity.

Berger Cargo’s losses are estimated at approximately UAH 65 million. This amount includes the cost of destroyed special equipment, IT infrastructure, forklifts, and other fixed assets.

Despite the losses, the company continues to operate and expands its presence in other regions of Ukraine. In September, Berger Cargo opened a branch in Chernivtsi. There, the operator already has about 12 thousand sq. m of warehouse space in several locations.

In parallel, the company is developing its branch in Lviv and considering the possibility of opening new facilities in other regions. In this way, the operator wants to reduce risks and expand its own network.
