Russia destroyed Roshen warehouse near Kyiv with seven drones: what is known

On the morning of August 27, Russian occupation forces attacked the Roshen logistics facility in the village of Chubynske, Boryspil district, Kyiv region, with seven drones. As a result of the strike, a warehouse of finished confectionery products was destroyed.

This was announced by the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, and also by the Roshen company.

According to Poroshenko, the drones were flying at an altitude of about 8,000 meters at a speed of over 300 km/h. He noted that the strike was carried out in conditions of limited capabilities to effectively counter jet drones.

The destroyed facility was used for storing finished products and their further supply. The attack caused significant material damage to the enterprise, including the loss of some of its products.

Roshen warned that due to the consequences of the Russian strike, temporary disruptions in the supply of certain goods are possible in the near future.

This is the second attack by Russian forces on the company’s warehouse facilities since the start of the full-scale war. In February, a Russian strike destroyed Roshen’s finished goods warehouse in Yagotyn, Kyiv region.
