Russian dictator Vladimir Putin did not rule out the capture of Sumy, but he stated that the Russian army currently does not have such a goal.

According to him, the Russians are allegedly advancing along the entire front line every day.

“Russia is forced to create security zones along the border with Ukraine, which distracts the already understaffed Ukrainian forces,” the Kremlin leader said.

He emphasized that the Russian Federation owns all territories where “the foot of a Russian soldier steps.”

At the same time, Putin noted that Ukraine created its own problem when it attacked the Kursk region, losing 76,000 people.

In addition, he noted that Russia is not demanding Ukraine’s surrender, but recognition of the current situation.

“Russia does not question Ukraine’s right to independence, but it would be good for this country to return to the basic values on the basis of which Kyiv gained sovereignty. Including non-aligned status,” the dictator added.

Among other things, he noted that he considers Ukrainians and Russians to be one people. Therefore, in Putin’s opinion, all of Ukraine belongs to Russia.
