Russia does not seek either a ceasefire or peace in Ukraine.
Russia is currently not interested in either a ceasefire or a peace agreement with Ukraine.
This was stated by Finnish President Alexander Stubb in an interview with France Inter after a meeting of the “Coalition of the Resolute” in Paris, reports European Pravda.
“In my opinion, there needs to be two stages: first a ceasefire, then a search for a solution and a peace agreement. But Putin does not want that. He wants only one thing – the complete occupation of Ukraine and the destruction of its sovereignty,” Stubb said.
The Finnish leader stressed that Moscow understands only the language of force, so it is necessary to increase pressure on Russia because of sanctions. He also confirmed that Finland will in one form or another join in guaranteeing security for Ukraine, but did not disclose any details.
Let us recall that European military structures have completed the development of a plan that provides for the deployment of forces on the territory of Ukraine.
