Russia has completed the production of experimental samples of new missiles for strategic bombers and is planning to test them. These are air-launched cruise and hypersonic missiles with different tactical and technical characteristics.

This is reported by the monitoring group “eRadar” .

According to the monitoring group, Russia is planning to use new missiles for its strategic bombers. The enemy has completed the production of experimental models and is preparing to test them on the territory of Ukraine.

In particular, it is reported about the air-launched cruise missile Kh-BD-K. Its carrier is the Tu-95MS. The speed of the missile is up to 900 kilometers per hour, and the range is up to 3,000 kilometers. It is an analogue of the Kh-101 missile and is distinguished by a modified guidance system and a flight altitude of 30 to 70 meters above the ground.

Russia has also completed production of the Kh-99 air-launched hypersonic cruise missile. It is carried by the Tu-160M. The missile has a claimed speed of up to 6,600 kilometers per hour and a range of up to 5,500 kilometers.

Separately, the hypersonic aircraft anti-ship missile Kh-MC is mentioned. It has a universal carrier and can be used from all strategic bombers. The missile’s range is up to 900 kilometers, and the speed is up to 4,200 kilometers per hour. In terms of its characteristics, it is an analogue of the Kh-22 missile.

The monitoring group notes that the tests of new missiles are due to a shortage of foreign components for existing models of cruise missiles.

“The production of new missiles is entirely based on Russian components, without foreign spare parts, and therefore their quality and accuracy will be lower and will pose a danger to the civilian population,” the report said.

Recall that on the night of January 10, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region . Three people were injured as a result of the shelling.
