Russia has declared its readiness to accept the US concept on Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that dictator Vladimir Putin is allegedly ready to agree to the concept proposed by the United States for resolving the war against Ukraine.

This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency TASS.

According to Lavrov, Putin is ready to “move forward in practical terms on the proposed basis.” However, the minister noted that the US has not yet responded directly to this proposal.

“We agreed to take a break to consider the proposals,” the Russian Foreign Minister added.

According to Russian sources, the American initiative envisages a cessation of hostilities along the current front line.

There has been no official reaction from Washington or Kyiv to these statements.

Incidentally, US President Donald Trump has chosen a middle-tier sanctions option against Russia , which focuses on the energy sector rather than a complete industrial shutdown. This decision paves the way for further steps, including the transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin reportedly stated that new US sanctions will have no impact on the Russian economy.

Subsequently, US President DonaldTrump sarcastically commented on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s remarks regarding new American sanctions , which, according to the Russian leader, would allegedly not affect the Russian economy.

As a reminder, the Donald Trump administration announced the first major package of financial restrictions aimed at the Russian economy . This move is part of Washington’s new strategy to force the Kremlin to end its war against Ukraine.
