Russia has launched nearly a thousand airstrikes in the Zaporizhzhia region, leaving dozens dead and wounded.

Over the course of 24 hours, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the Zaporizhia region, striking 967 settlements. The shelling resulted in deaths, dozens of injuries, and significant damage to residential and civilian infrastructure.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported this.

The most tragic consequences were recorded in the village of Balabino, which Russian troops attacked with guided bombs. One of the strikes landed near a public transport stop. Three people died instantly, and three more were injured and sought medical attention. Private homes were also damaged.

Separately, Russian drones attacked Zaporizhia. The strike on an infrastructure facility caused a fire. A 59-year-old man was injured.

According to the OVA, in just one day, one person was killed and another 25 people were wounded due to Russian shelling in the region.

The occupiers actively used aircraft and drones. Twenty-five airstrikes were carried out in the region, and over 690 drone attacks of various types, primarily FPV, were recorded. In addition, Russian forces carried out nearly 250 artillery and multiple launch rocket system strikes.

Over the past 24 hours, 165 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure have been received. Emergency services and commissions are working on the ground to document the aftermath of the enemy attacks.
