The Russian Investigative Committee has announced that former Ukrainian defense ministers Mikhail Fedorov and Alexei Reznikov have been placed on the “international wanted list.” Russia claims that they are allegedly involved in “crimes against the civilian population of Donbas.”
This is reported by Russian media.
The Russian Investigative Committee stated that it had allegedly established the involvement of Fedorov and Reznikov in “crimes against the civilian population of Donbas.”
“Within the framework of the criminal case on the cruel treatment of the civilian population of Donbas, the involvement of former Ministers of Defense of Ukraine and members of the National Security and Defense Council A. Reznikov and M. Fedorov in the crimes has been established,” the Russian agency said in a statement.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation also stated that Fedorov and Reznikov were put on the “international wanted list.”
The Russian agency also announced an “international search” for the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleg Ivashchenko, and the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi. The Russian side accuses them, in particular, of involvement in attacks on Russian territory.
Among the episodes reported by the Russian Investigative Committee are a drone attack on a beach in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka, Krasnodar Territory, strikes on Nizhny Kamsk, as well as attacks on the Iranian vessel “Ana” and the Russian vessel “Navis-1” in the area of the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal.
The Russian agency claims that 21 people, including children, died in these episodes. It is worth noting that these claims come from the Russian investigation and are not facts established by a court.
During the same meeting, First Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Eduard Kaburneyev, stated that since 2014, the Russian agency has initiated 11,305 criminal cases, which it links to the so-called “crimes of the Kyiv regime.”
According to him, 1,201 cases have been referred to the courts, and 1,252 people have been convicted. In addition, the Russian side announced decisions to bring 1,153 foreign mercenaries as defendants.
