Russia hit Kherson CHP with a KAB: there is serious damage

The Kherson thermal power plant suffered serious damage as a result of the Russian attack.

This was reported by the Naftogaz Group in Telegram.

Russian forces struck the Kherson CHP with a guided aerial bomb. The attack damaged the city’s main source of heat supply.

Experts will be able to finally assess the scale of the destruction after the security situation allows for an appropriate survey.

Naftogaz emphasized that the Kherson CHP is an exclusively civilian facility, the main task of which is to provide heat to the city’s residents.

It was previously reported that Russian troops attacked Naftogaz Group facilities in various regions of Ukraine 13 times over the past week. The strikes damaged equipment and production facilities, and some facilities had to be shut down.
