Russian aircraft struck the territory of the Chornobaivska poultry farm in the Muzykivska community of Kherson region with guided aerial bombs. The attack caused a large-scale fire at the enterprise, and thick black smoke rose above the impact site.

This is reported by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko.

According to preliminary information, the strike hit the territory of the Chornobayivska poultry farm, which is part of the Avangard agricultural holding of the Ukrlandfarming group of companies. Eyewitnesses released footage showing the damaged roof of the hangar and heavy smoke above the enterprise.

Before the full-scale invasion, the factory was one of the largest producers of chicken eggs in Europe. During the Russian occupation in 2022, more than 4 million chickens died there due to lack of electricity and feed, and the company estimated the losses at $330 million. After the deoccupation of the right-bank part of the Kherson region, the enterprise never resumed work.

Information about the victims is currently being clarified. Official authorities have not yet released data on the scale of the destruction.

At the same time, local media, citing Ukrlandfarming, reported possible losses of “hundreds of millions of dollars.” However, there is currently no official confirmation of this information from the company.

Recall that Russian troops struck a hospital in Kherson on July 2. A 63-year-old doctor was killed in the attack, and another medical worker was injured.
