Russia hits Odessa with missiles: there are dead and wounded, including children
Russian occupation forces launched a missile strike on Odessa in the evening. The attack killed two people and injured eight others, including three children. Residential buildings, a kindergarten, a religious institution, cars, and other civilian infrastructure were also damaged.
This was announced by the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to them, fires broke out at the impact sites, and emergency services continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
“The number of victims of the Russian missile attack has increased to eight. Emergency and municipal services are working on the scene. An operational headquarters has been deployed. The victims are being provided with all necessary assistance,” Serhiy Lysak reported.
According to Oleg Kiper, civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of the shelling, and fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.
Later, Serhiy Lysak clarified that the number of dead had increased to two. Information about the consequences of the attack continues to be updated, and relevant services are working at the scene.
