As a result of Russia’s massive combined attack on the night of July 2, power outages were recorded in several regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
Some consumers in Kyiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv regions are temporarily left without electricity due to damage to energy facilities.
The situation in Sumy Oblast remains the most difficult. There, the energy infrastructure was damaged due to hostilities and shelling, which led to the largest number of power outages in the region.
Power engineers are working to restore power supply. Repair crews are carrying out emergency and restoration work around the clock.
It is also reported that three workers were injured in enemy shelling while working at an energy facility in the Donetsk region. They were hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical care.
It is separately noted that due to the bad weather, more than 70 settlements in Lviv, Zakarpattia, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions remain without electricity. Repair crews are working to restore power.
At the same time, the use of outage schedules is not currently forecast. The energy system is urging consumers to shift active energy consumption to daytime hours from 10:00 to 16:00 and to use electricity economically in the evening from 16:00 to 23:00.
