In the second half of October, Russian refineries began processing 25% more oil than at the beginning of the month. The increase came after drone attacks on refineries ceased.

Reuters reports this, citing three sources in the oil industry.

According to their data, in the second half of October, Russian refineries processed about 5 million barrels of oil daily.

Russia has also increased its diesel production. In October, plants began producing at least 50,000 tons more diesel per day. In total, this figure has increased to 225,000 tons, or about 1.7 million barrels.

Of this amount, Russia can export about 80,000 tons of diesel per day.

Earlier it was reported that Russia earned $2.76 billion from oil exports by sea last week . This is a record amount since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In just seven days, the value of supplies increased by $430 million.

It was previously reported that the US Congress proposed banning the Trump-Putin diesel deal , which provides for the supply of Russian fuel to the American and other markets.
