Russia intensifies cyberattacks on the US due to support for Iranian hackers

Russia is increasing hybrid pressure on the United States, supporting cyberattacks by Iranian hacking groups. Experts are recording an increase in the activity of attacks on critical infrastructure.
This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
Experts say pro-Iranian hackers are increasingly targeting the United States and its allies, with hospitals, transportation and industrial facilities becoming prime targets – areas where even brief disruptions can have serious consequences.
Support from Russian hacking networks plays a key role in these operations. In particular, the Z-Pentest group, which is linked to Russian military intelligence, has claimed responsibility for disruptions in American systems, including video surveillance networks.
Analysts note that Russia is transferring experience in conducting cyberattacks to Iran, which allows it to develop its offensive capabilities more quickly.
The CPD emphasizes that such cooperation creates a long-term threat: attacks are becoming more sophisticated, harder to track, and cyberspace is increasingly turning into a separate front of hybrid warfare.
