Russia introduced a new guided munition “KUB-10ME”: what is its danger?

The Russian concern Kalashnikov has presented for the first time a new tactical-class guided munition “KUB-10ME”. According to the developers, its flight range exceeds 100 km, and the device itself is protected from electronic warfare and air defense.
This is reported by Russian media.
The Kalashnikov Concern stated that the ammunition was created in a short time, taking into account the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
According to the developers, “KUB-10ME” is equipped with an opto-electronic guidance system that allows it to hit moving targets. The device also has an aerial photography and video recording system with recording of the received information.
Russia claims that the ammunition is designed to destroy:
- lightly armored vehicles;
- command posts;
- positions of anti-aircraft missile systems;
- airplanes and helicopters outside shelters;
- manpower;
- drone operators.
According to the published characteristics, “KUB-10ME” can perform tasks at altitudes from 80 to 1800 m at a speed of 120 km/h and at a distance of up to 100 kilometers.
The Russian Federation also claims that the ammunition can be used day and night, in difficult meteorological conditions, with wind gusts of up to 10 m/s and temperatures from -30 to +40 degrees Celsius.
