Russia invited to G20 summit in US – media

Russia has received an invitation to participate in the G20 Summit in the United States at the highest level, but a final decision on participation has not yet been made.

This was announced by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin . According to him, Moscow will be determined closer to the event’s date.

Earlier, Russia’s G20 Sherpa, Svetlana Lukash, noted that the American side is counting on the participation of all G20 leaders. Specifically, the US is also preparing for the possible arrival of Kremlin Prime Minister Vladimir Putin .

The G20 summit traditionally brings together the world’s leading economies to discuss key global issues, including economics, security, and international politics.
