Ukraine has received intelligence that Russia is purposefully diverting drones towards the Baltic countries.

This was reported by “Ukrainska Pravda” with reference to Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga.

The Foreign Minister assured that Ukraine has never sent drones to the Baltic countries and is currently working with partners to avoid such incidents in the future.

According to the official, in cases where drones violated allied airspace, it was a deliberate and targeted action by Russia.

As noted, the Kremlin plans to use such incidents “for its informational purposes.”

“I am grateful to all our partners, the Baltics, as well as the Finns, who, together with us, clearly state: ‘The cause of these incidents is in Russia,’” Sibiga noted.

He added that the Russian war has created corresponding threats for a number of countries, emphasizing that the Russian Federation must be forced to make peace.

Recall, on the night of Tuesday, March 31, drones attacked Russian targets on the Baltic coast. Several drones went off course and flew into Estonian airspace .

Earlier, drones from Russia flew into the airspace of the Baltic states . One of them crashed into the chimney of a power plant in Estonia, and another exploded in Latvia – the wreckage of the drone was found on the ground.
