“Russia is destroying and humiliating American business”: the president of the American Chamber of Commerce on the attack on the plant in Transcarpathia

American Chamber of Commerce President Andy Gunder said that Russia’s strikes on Ukraine are destroying and humiliating American business.

The statement by the president of the American Chamber of Commerce was published by the Mukachevo City Council.

“I am at the scene of a truly horrific Russian missile strike. One of the largest American investments in Ukraine, Flex, an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce, was hit last night,” Gunder noted.

He added that this was a blow not only to Ukraine, but also to American business.

Two missiles hit the factory, where 600 employees were working the night shift. Thanks to strict safety protocols, everyone survived.

“Russia is not only destroying Ukraine – it is destroying and humiliating American business. The region borders the EU and until recently was considered the safest in Ukraine. Now this is definitely not the case,” Gunder added.

The president of the chamber of commerce called on Trump to stand up for American business and “stand up to Vladimir Putin’s campaign of destruction.”

As a reminder, on August 21, Russian occupiers in Mukachevo, Transcarpathia, launched a missile strike on a large American electronics manufacturer .

By the way, the Institute for the Study of War stated that the Russian Federation’s attacks on businesses in Ukraine are aimed at stopping investments from the US and the EU .
