Russia is increasing the number of troops on the front lines, while at the same time, its army’s losses are growing and have been recorded. Robert “Magyar” Brovdy, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Force, believes this trend is a sign of covert mobilization in the Russian Federation.

He reported this on Telegram.

In the first five days of October, SSSU units recorded 2,699 confirmed irreparable and medical losses among Russian troops. For the same period in September, this figure stood at 1,931 military losses, representing a 39.7% increase.

Compared to the beginning of August, when 1,529 losses were recorded, the October figure increased by 76.5%.

The largest increase was recorded in the Dobropolsko-Pokrovsky direction in the area of responsibility of the Azov group of forces.

There, in the first five days of October, SSSU units recorded 1,268 irreparable and medical losses of Russian troops. In September, during the same period, this figure was 884, a 43% decrease. Compared to early August, when 664 losses were recorded, this represents a 91% increase.

Brovdi emphasized that these statistics only cover the work of the Unmanned Systems Forces units and do not include data from other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to the SBS commander, this is exclusively about recording and analyzing verified losses. “No fantasies, rumors, or guesses—only recording, mathematics, and analyzing verified losses,” he emphasized.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia had already begun additional mobilization and was attempting to recruit more people to fight in Ukraine. He also stated that Moscow was planning to actively recruit foreigners.
