An attack by Russian drones continues in Kyiv. Railway and other transport infrastructure facilities have been hit, and an arrival was recorded near the Central Railway Station. The station itself is not damaged, but due to repeated air threats, train departures from the capital may be delayed.
This was announced by Oleksandr Pertsovsky, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
According to him, one railway worker, who was returning home after a shift, received shrapnel injuries and is in the hospital.
“Enemy attacks on the capital continue, and the capital’s railway infrastructure is also under the sights,” Pertsovsky wrote.
He urged people not to be near railway facilities during an air raid alert and to take shelter.
“Be as careful as possible these days and always near railway facilities! Leave them, take shelter AT ANY level of alarm,” the head of Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized.
According to him, even during the yellow alert level, passengers are boarding and disembarking at the Central Station and Darnytsia Station only from underground facilities.
“If you are late for your flight due to security reasons, it doesn’t matter. We will refund 100% of the cost, and you will take the next train. Above all, take care of yourself,” Pertsovsky said.
At the same time, he noted that the consequences of the attacks are being promptly eliminated, but due to repeated threats, people have to be temporarily removed from railway facilities, which affects the timeliness of train departures from Kyiv.

Separately, Ukrzaliznytsia reported an arrival near the Central Railway Station.
“In connection with information about the arrival near the Central Railway Station of Kyiv, we inform you: the station was not damaged,” the company said. Passengers were urged to remain in shelters until the air alert is over.
The attack also affected other areas of the capital. In the Holosiivskyi district, a UAV fell on the roof of a non-residential building, as well as on the territory of a transport infrastructure facility. In the Solomyanskyi district, a drone fell on a store building, and another drone hit a 9-story non-residential building at the level of the fourth floor.
In Darnytskyi district, a transport infrastructure facility was hit and a fire broke out on the roof of a gas station. Earlier, fires were also reported at warehouse and transport facilities in Holosiivskyi and Solomyanskyi districts.
The attack temporarily suspended the movement of the city’s electric train in the morning. Explosions, drone strikes, and crashes were recorded in various areas of the capital.
The attack resulted in one death and injuries. According to the KMVA, a man who was injured in the attack died in hospital.
In addition, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported new drone crashes and hits in the capital.

As previously reported, Russian forces attacked a Ukrnafta gas station in Kyiv on the morning of September 23. This is the sixth attack on the company’s facilities in the past few weeks.
