Intelligence has received data about the Russian army preparing a new massive strike on Ukraine.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He noted that even on the eve of the trilateral meeting with Kyiv and Washington, the Russians continue to attack Ukrainian settlements.
“This is eloquent – how Russia treats the diplomatic efforts of its partners. Every Russian missile is the aggressor’s response to calls to end the war, and that is why we insist: only with sufficient pressure on Russia and clear security guarantees for Ukraine can this war really be ended,” the president emphasized.
He has already instructed the commander of the Air Force, the head of Ukrenergo, and the Minister of Defense to prepare the necessary measures to protect against enemy attacks. They should do this within the day.
As a reminder, on the night of February 16 , Russian troops carried out a combined attack on Ukraine , using six missiles of different types and 62 strike drones.
As is known, the next round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia will take place in Geneva on February 17-18. The Ukrainian delegation has already begun preparations for this meeting.
