Russia is preparing a new massive strike on Ukraine – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is preparing another massive strike on Ukraine. According to Ukrainian intelligence, the attack could take place tonight, so citizens were urged not to ignore air raid sirens.

The head of state stated this during a joint press conference with Irish Prime Minister Michał Martin.

According to the president, Russia has recently been regularly carrying out large-scale combined strikes, using hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles of various types.

“Today there is very unpleasant information about another preparation of such a massive Russian strike. There is intelligence data,” Zelensky said.

The President announced that due to the information received, he was returning to Ukraine early with his team. He also called on Ukrainians to closely monitor air raid signals and, in case of danger, immediately take shelter.

According to Zelensky, the Kremlin has been preparing a new attack for some time and has shown no intention of ending the war.

The President also noted that Ukraine, through official and unofficial channels, has sent signals to Russia about its readiness for negotiations, however, according to him, Vladimir Putin is choosing further escalation.

The Head of State added that the air defense forces, military, special services, intelligence, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have already received the necessary instructions to respond to a possible attack.
