Russia is preparing new assault groups: in which direction will they be sent?

Russian occupation forces are training new assault groups to intensify attacks on the front in the Zaporizhia region.

This was stated in a comment to Ukrinform by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

“According to our intelligence, the enemy is preparing new assault groups in training centers and training grounds located in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions,” he said.

The enemy seeks to intensify assaults in the Orikhiv direction in the Kamianske-Prymorske-Stepove-Tokmachka-Novoandreivka-Novodanylivka and Maly Shcherbaki areas.

As Voloshin noted, after some of the groups complete their training in a few weeks, they will be thrown to the front lines to carry out assault operations.

Earlier, the Defense Forces of Ukraine regained control of the village of Mali Shcherbaki in the Zaporizhia region and raised the national flag in the settlement.

Let us remind you that the Russian army makes daily attempts to capture Kamianske and Plavni in the Orikhiv direction and reach the outskirts of Primorske for a further offensive on Zaporizhzhia.

As is known, the Russian occupation army has intensified hostilities in the southern regions of Ukraine , in particular, the enemy has transferred additional resources to the Zaporizhia region.
