Russia is preparing new massive strikes on Ukraine – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Russian army is preparing for new massive strikes on the territory of Ukraine.

He said this in an evening video address.

“Now we have information from intelligence that the Russians are preparing for new massive strikes,” Zelensky said.

Separately, he added that the supplies provided by allies are not enough for Ukraine. Discussions are currently underway with foreign partners about missiles for air defense systems.

“A lot is being done now at the level of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. But still, please pay attention to air alerts. Please help those who are near you, alone, who need your support,” the president urged.

As a reminder, on the night of January 9, Kyiv was subjected to a massive combined attack by enemy UAVs , which resulted in damage to residential buildings and infrastructure in several areas of the city.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the introduction of a state of emergency in Ukraine’s energy sector .

As is known, Vitali Klitschko stated that the situation in the capital remains difficult – this is the first time such a scale has been observed since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
