Russia is dragging out the war and continuing to kill Ukrainians. In the past week alone, the Russians have used a thousand aerial bombs and 1,400 strike drones against Ukraine.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Another week has ended without any attempt by Russia to agree to the numerous demands of the world and stop the killings. In the past 24 hours alone, there were 137 combat clashes on the front, and it’s like that every day,” Zelensky wrote.

He also reported that the Russian army is not reducing pressure and is not counting losses. In the area of responsibility of the 32nd OMB in the Donetsk region alone, 209 occupiers were destroyed in a week, from August 4 to 10.

“Ukrainian soldiers are actively operating, defending positions, and in each direction of hostilities, even the most difficult ones, there are the necessary results for Ukraine. We are maintaining our positions, we are doing everything to destroy or push back the occupier,” the head of state noted.

He also reported that over the past week, the occupiers have used over a thousand aerial bombs and almost 1,400 strike drones against Ukraine.

Zelenskyy said that Russia is prolonging the war and therefore deserves stronger pressure.

“Russia refuses to stop the killings, and therefore should not receive any awards or positives for itself. And this is not just a moral position – it is a rational position. Concessions do not convince the murderer. But a truly strong defense of life stops the murderers,” Zelensky noted.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also published a video showing the destruction caused by the Russian occupiers.

Recall that US President Donald Trump informed European leaders of his intention to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin , and later to organize a trilateral meeting with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

By the way, a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is scheduled for the end of next week .

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Rutte said that the Alliance countries will continue to supply weapons to Ukraine regardless of the outcome of the meeting scheduled for August 15 between US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin .

It is worth noting that the US has promised to consult with European partners before the meeting between President Donald Trump and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin .
