Russia is stepping up attacks on Kostyantynivka: another front line is under threat

Russian occupation forces continue to increase pressure on the Kostyantynivka direction and are trying to gain a foothold directly in Kostyantynivka. At the same time, analysts warn that after this, one of the main directions of the offensive may be the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, which is already under constant attacks.
This was reported by analysts of the DeepState monitoring project.
According to their data, the occupiers are not stopping attempts to infiltrate Kostyantynivka in order to accumulate infantry and gain an advantage for further offensive actions.
“The enemy continues to pressure Kostyantynivka, making constant attempts at infiltration. In particular, attempts are ongoing to gain a foothold in the city itself in order to accumulate infantry to increase superiority and control over the area,” DeepState notes.
Analysts emphasize that one of the key tasks of the Russian army remains to establish control over the area between Illinivka and Novodmytrivka. If the latter settlement is captured, there may be a threat of encirclement of Ukrainian units holding the defense in Chasovye Yar.
DeepState also notes that Russian forces are combining infantry attacks with massive use of guided aerial bombs, artillery, and strike drones, causing widespread destruction in Konstantinovka, as well as neighboring Alekseevo-Druzhkivka and Druzhkivka.
Analysts are paying special attention to the section of the front from Yampol to Minkivka. According to them, this is the section that Russian troops may make the next main direction after Kostyantynivka.
“The enemy is increasing pressure on the positions of the Defense Forces fighters, and Ukrainian commanders are preparing to intensify assault operations, calling this area the next main direction after the occupation of Kostyantynivka,” the report says.
According to DeepState, the occupiers are actively using artillery to destroy minefields, constantly checking Ukrainian defenses for weaknesses, and trying to advance in the Ozerne and Kryva Luka areas. The Ukrainian military, in turn, is restraining these attempts and preventing the enemy from developing an offensive.
In addition, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk are under constant attacks. The Russian army regularly uses guided aerial bombs, multiple launch rocket systems, Shahed attack drones, and FPV drones, which attack both logistics routes and civilian transport.
DeepState notes that Russian forces already have fire control approximately 40 kilometers deep from the front line. This makes the situation in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration increasingly complicated, and the presence of civilians in these cities increasingly dangerous.
