Megan Mobbs, daughter of former US President’s special representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, said that Russia’s nighttime attack on Kyiv is a direct signal that the Kremlin is testing the resolve of the United States.
Mobbs wrote about this on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
According to her, the strike on the Ukrainian capital was Putin’s response to Donald Trump’s ultimatum. “This is not just a shelling – it is a test of America’s strength. And we must not show weakness,” she noted.
Mobbs heads the RT Weatherman Foundation, a charitable organization that provides humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, including helping with the evacuation and treatment of foreign volunteers injured during the war.
This is not her first public statement on the subject of Russian shelling. Earlier, in June, during another large-scale attack by the Russian Federation, she publicly addressed her father, emphasizing that the Kremlin has no intention of compromising.
As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, July 31, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on Kyiv, using missiles and drones. The strike resulted in significant destruction in several areas of the capital, with fatalities and dozens of injuries.
