Ukrainian air defenses repelled another massive attack by Russian drones on the night of April 10. Most of the drones were neutralized, but there were also hits.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the Russians began their attack on the evening of April 9. In total, the enemy launched 128 drones of various types over Ukraine, including about 85 Shahed attack drones.
The launches were carried out from Russian territory – from the Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk districts, as well as from temporarily occupied Crimea.
Aviation, air defense units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack.
As of this morning, the Ukrainian military has neutralized 113 enemy drones in the north, east, and south of the country.
“As of 08:00, air defenses have shot down or silenced 113 enemy UAVs,” the Air Force reported.
However, it was not possible to completely avoid the consequences of the attacks. 14 strike drones were recorded hitting six locations. Debris from downed drones fell in seven more places.
The Air Force also warned that the attack is ongoing — enemy drones are still in the air.
