Russia launched 135 drones over Ukraine: how many did air defense shoot down?

On the night of Tuesday, June 23, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with 135 strike drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized 118 enemy drones, but hits were recorded at 11 locations.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the enemy used Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas attack drones, as well as Parody simulator drones. The launches were carried out from Russian territory – from the Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo regions.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
The Air Force noted that as of 08:00, air defenses had shot down or suppressed 118 enemy UAVs in the north, east, and south of the country.
At the same time, 13 strike drones were recorded hitting 11 locations. Falling debris from downed drones was recorded at three more locations.
“The attack is ongoing, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow safety rules,” the military stressed.
