On the night of Thursday, April 23, Russian occupation forces launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to their data, since the evening of April 22, the occupiers have launched 155 drones of various types, including Shahed, as well as Gerbera and Italmas. The launches were carried out from the territory of Russia and temporarily occupied areas.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, air defense units, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and unmanned systems operators.

As of this morning, 139 enemy drones had been shot down or suppressed in various directions — in the north, east, and south of the country.

However, it was not possible to completely avoid hits. 11 drone strikes were recorded in nine locations. Debris from downed drones also fell in several places.

The Air Force adds that the attack is not over — enemy drones remain in the sky, so the threat remains.
