Russia launched 363 drones and 8 missiles over Ukraine: how it tested its air defense

On the night of Friday, June 27, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine using strike drones and missiles. In total, the enemy launched 363 Shahed drones and 8 missiles.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians used the following in the night shelling on June 27:
- 363 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types;
- 2 aeroballistic missiles Kh-47 M2 “Dagger”;
- 6 “Caliber” cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea.
It is noted that the main focus of the Russian strike was the city of Starokostyantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.
“The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups,” the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted.
As of 09:30, air defenses had neutralized 365 enemy air attack vehicles:
- – 211 enemy Shahed UAVs and drones of other types were shot down, 148 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare;
- – 6 “Caliber” cruise missiles were shot down.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces recorded direct enemy hits in 3 locations, as well as falling debris in 8 locations.
As reported, over the past 24 hours, 187 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front . The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.
