Russia launched 69 UAVs over Ukraine: how many did air defense repel?

Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 37 out of 69 enemy drones.
This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack began at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, when Russia launched 69 Shahed, Gerbera attack UAVs and other drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (Russian Federation) and Gvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 40 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As of 09:00 on Wednesday, December 17, Ukraine’s air defenses had destroyed or suppressed 37 enemy drones in the north, east, and south of the country. As a result of the attack, 29 strike UAVs were hit in 12 locations.
The Air Force emphasized that the attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
