Russia launched a combined strike on Kyiv: one person was killed and one was injured

According to the State Emergency Service, destruction and fires were recorded in the Obolonsky, Svyatoshynsky, Holosiivsky and Desnyansky districts of the capital.

A non-residential building caught fire in the Obolonskyi district. One person died and three others were injured.

In the Svyatoshynskyi district, a fire broke out in the warehouse of one of the stores as a result of an enemy strike.

In Holosiivskyi district, rescuers extinguished fires in two one-story non-residential buildings. Four people were injured, two of them were hospitalized. There was also a minor ammonia leak on the territory of one of the industrial enterprises. Specialists promptly closed the shut-off valves and assured that there was no threat to the population.

In the Desnyanskyi district, a fire engulfed two non-residential buildings.

According to the Kyiv City Council and the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, as of 06:09 the number of injured has increased to 24 people. Four of the injured are in serious condition. Rescuers, medics and other emergency services continue to work at the site of the Russian attack, and information about the consequences of the strike is being clarified.

It was previously reported that on the night of August 4, Russian troops struck Mykolaiv. The attack killed an 89-year-old woman and injured seven more people, including two children.
