Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv: there are dead and many injured, residential buildings are damaged.
On the night of November 28, Russian forces launched a combined drone and ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. The attack resulted in significant damage to residential infrastructure and numerous fires in various districts of the capital.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Metropolitan Airport , Timur Tkachenko , and the mayor of Kyiv , Vitali Klitschko.
According to Tkachenko, the number of wounded quickly grew – initially, there were reports of 11 injured and one dead. Later, 13 were reported injured, including a child. Around 7:40 a.m., Klitschko clarified that six people had been hospitalized.
Later, the KMV reported that the death toll had risen to two. By 8:15 a.m., the number of injured in the capital had reached 15.
Fires and destruction in several areas of Kyiv
The fall of debris from downed drones led to a series of fires and destruction in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Solomenskyi, and Svyatoshinskyi districts of the capital.

In the Darnitsky district, debris damaged the roof of a two-story building.

In Dneprovsk , two floors of a residential complex caught fire after debris fell, and the fire was extinguished.

A 14-story building caught fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

A garage caught fire in Solomenskoye , partially destroying the façade of a 25-story building; several cars also caught fire.

Debris also fell on the roof of a 17-story building, but no fire broke out.

In the Svyatoshinsky district, debris fell into the entrance of a three-story residential building, engulfing the second floor. Rescuers managed to save a child, and one person called for help. A body was found under the rubble.
Fires in all areas have been extinguished, rescue operations continue.
