Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine overnight: Air defense shot down 64 of 80 drones.

On the night of December 12, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, launching 80 attack drones of the Shahed , Gerber, and other models. Air defense forces destroyed 64 enemy targets.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

The attack was carried out in several directions: Bryansk, Orloye, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, as well as from Cape Chauda and Gvardeysky in occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare forces, unmanned aerial systems operational units, and mobile fire teams of the Defense Forces. As a result of the combat operations, the majority of drones in the north, south, and east of the country were destroyed.

Meanwhile, 12 strikes by attack drones were recorded in eight locations, as well as debris from downed drones in three other locations. Information on the aftermath is being clarified.

As a reminder, Russian drones attacked Pavlograd overnight , killing a 71-year-old local resident and injuring four others to varying degrees.
