Russia launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, leaving two people in critical condition.

On the afternoon of August 15, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack caused a fire, power outages, and injuries.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the missile attack on Dnipropetrovsk region began at around 2:37 p.m.
The day before, monitoring channels reported the takeoff of at least three Russian Tu-22M3 bombers. A “Banderol” loitering munition was also detected in the region.
At around 3:16 PM, Dnipropetrovsk OVA chief Oleksandr Ganzha reported a strike on Kryvyi Rih. A fire broke out at the scene, and one casualty was initially reported.
The number of injured subsequently rose to two. The attack caused power outages in the city, which temporarily affected electric transport. The power supply was later stabilized.
According to Oleksandr Vilkul, Chairman of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, both victims are in serious condition. The 61-year-old man suffered multiple injuries and is in serious but stable condition. The other victim suffered a traumatic leg amputation and is in surgery, where doctors are fighting for his life.
The consequences of the impact and the extent of the damage are being clarified.
