Russia launched ballistic missiles and drones over Ukraine: how many air defenses destroyed

On the night of Thursday, February 5, Russia launched two ballistic missiles and more than 180 strike drones into Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down or suppressed 156 of them.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“From 18:00 on February 4, the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the TOT of the AR of Crimea, as well as 183 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Donetsk – TOT of Ukraine, about 110 of them – “Shaheeds” – the post says.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 08:00 on February 5, the air defense system had shot down or suppressed 156 enemy drones. At the same time, ballistic missile hits and 22 attack drones were recorded at 16 locations, as well as the fall of debris from downed UAVs at seven locations.

The attack continues – several enemy drones remain in Ukrainian airspace.
