On the night of Wednesday, May 6, Russian occupation forces launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using missiles and drones.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the enemy launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region, as well as a Kh-31 guided aircraft missile from the airspace of the Kursk region. In addition, Ukraine was attacked by over a hundred drones of various types.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, air defense units, electronic warfare, and mobile fire groups.

According to preliminary data, as of this morning, 89 enemy drones had been destroyed or suppressed.

“Air defenses shot down and suppressed dozens of attack UAVs in the north and east of the country,” the military noted.

At the same time, hits were also recorded. Several locations were hit – two hits by ballistic missiles, one aircraft missile, and nine attack drones.

There are also reports of debris from downed targets falling in one of the areas. Information on the consequences of the attacks is being clarified.
