On the night of Wednesday, June 10, Russian occupation forces carried out one of the largest drone attacks in recent days. To strike Ukraine, the occupiers used 207 drones of various types, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol, and imitation drones.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the drones were launched from the territory of Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare forces, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack.

“According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses had shot down or suppressed 181 enemy drones,” the Air Force reported.

The military clarified that air defense forces neutralized air targets in the north, east, and south of the country.

Despite the defenders’ efforts, there were consequences. According to the Air Force, strike drones were recorded hitting a number of regions.

“21 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 14 locations, as well as the fall of downed targets and debris at 13 locations,” the report says.

Information about the damage and casualties is being clarified. Emergency services and local authorities are working on the scene.
