Russia launched over 60 drones over Ukraine: how many did air defense shoot down?

On the night of December 2, starting at 18:00 on December 1, Ukrainian airspace was attacked by 62 enemy strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones. More than 35 of them were “Shaheeds”. The attacks were carried out from the following directions: Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Chauda (TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) and Donetsk.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian defenders repelled drone strikes with the help of anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 08:30, 39 enemy Shahed, Gerber and other types of drones were shot down or suppressed in the north, east and south of the country.
At the same time, 20 strike drones hit 8 locations, causing damage.
The attack is ongoing: several enemy drones are still in the airspace. The Defense Forces are urging people to follow safety rules and stay in cover.
