Russia launched over a hundred drones: Air defense neutralized 88 drones in the skies over Ukraine

Defense forces neutralized 88 Russian drones over Ukraine last night.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

According to the military, from 21:00 on Wednesday, June 18, the Russian invaders launched 104 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of drone imitators in the directions of their cities of Millerovo, Kursk, Orel and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 08:30, the air defense neutralized 88 hostile Shahed-type UAVs (drones of other types) in the north, east, south and center of the country. 40 were shot down by fire weapons, 48 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

Enemy air strikes were recorded in 6 locations.

Let us recall that according to the General Staff, 163 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front . The hottest situation remains in the Pokrovsky direction.
